My great grandsons' (age 2) Mother wanted to know my favourite 

Childhood book when I was a little girl. It was The Folk of the Faraway

Tree by Enid Blyton which I still have, published in 1946 and it was a present

from my Grandmother  in the late 40s. I gave my great grandson an up dated

version of this book last Christmas, so I have decided to scrap the cover of

my favourite childhood book.

I have used all the colours of this challenge and used dots animals flowers and

leaves. On white card a splash of paint a leaf stamp mixed paper a die cut

book leaves and tree, I fussy cut the flowers to finish my title A smile is

contagious.

My journaling says: My favourite book when I was a child was this book by

Enid Blyton. My great grandson son now has this book to read and enjoy.

A lovely Challenge from Scrap the Boys it's Hello Baby.

A cut out a border using mixed paper from my stash some tearing die

 cut the bird leaves month and year. To finish a few embellishments

and flowers. My son was born late in December and he was in his

pram at his Gran's house in January 1963 when I took this photo.

Another fun challenge from C S I .

I have used most of the colours and used clips, leaves an envelope and my

cat Rusty. I used mixed paper die cut my title the leaves the hearts on

the envelope I made the envelope to hide my journaling. To finish my

title My Pet and placed a feather under his photo. Rusty is hiding in

his play tunnel and holding his little mouse.

A great Sketch and Challenge.  I used Kaisercraft paper and embellishments

a splash of paint and let it run tearing and inking as I went, a border punch

for the film strip, flowers leaves a butterfly. To finish my title The best thing

about memories is making them. The three photos are of me taken before I

meet my husband, when we were engaged and  finally on a fishing trip in 1990.

I love my pet Rusty and I love mixed media so this challenge came along

at the right time. On white card a brown strip down the right side of my page

I used a stencil did some stamping for effect die cut the brown under my

photo. Next a splash of L S G paint and double backed my photo. To finish

flowers and I used glass glitter (love the effect it gives) and my title Life.

I used Kaisercraft paper I did some tearing cut an oval and a

heritage frame for my photo. A few strips of corresponding paper di cut

three swirls adding some lace a few flowers and embellishments to

finish, my title A True Love Story Never ends, Photo of my Grand

Aunty and Uncle.

White with One Challenge September 18

A nice challenge from White with One, my favourite colour.

With the white card I used my border punch and placed the teal under

the white, then used L S G teal with a little spray of Perfect Pearls

Mist to give it a shine. Then I cut out my back ground on my cricut

 machine die cut the leaves added a couple of white flowers and to finish

my title happy. Photo is of me taken at home on my way out for the day.

My inspiration is Fathers Day and the Beach. On white card a touch of

blue and green paint I used Kaisercraft paper and embellishment's  and used

my die cuts. Next some sea shells the droplets I have had in my stash for a

long time, finally I have used them and I think they look rather effective!
